It seems like everyone is busy these days.
Our calendars are full. Our phones never stop buzzing. There are always errands to run, appointments to keep, and responsibilities demanding our attention. In the middle of all the noise, kindness can sometimes feel like an afterthought.
But maybe that's exactly why it matters so much.
Kindness doesn't require a grand gesture. It doesn't cost anything. Often, it's found in the smallest moments—a smile from a stranger, a word of encouragement, holding a door open, sending a text just to check on someone, or offering a helping hand when it's needed most.
The truth is, we never know what someone else is carrying.
The person standing in line beside us may be facing a health battle.
The cashier ringing up our purchase may be caring for an aging parent.
The neighbor who seems distant may be walking through a difficult season.
A simple act of kindness has the power to change the direction of someone's day. Sometimes, it can even change the direction of their life.
As Christians, kindness is more than being nice. It's a reflection of God's love working through us. Galatians 5:22 reminds us that kindness is one of the fruits of the Spirit. When we choose kindness, we demonstrate the love, grace, and compassion that Christ has shown to us.
In a world that often feels rushed, divided, and distracted, kindness stands out.
It says, "I see you."
It says, "You matter."
It says, "You're not alone."
At Made From Joy, we believe kindness is something worth spreading. That's why so many of our designs are created to encourage, inspire, and remind people of the good that still exists in the world.
Imagine what could happen if each of us made kindness a daily habit.
A kind word.
A patient response.
A note of encouragement.
A prayer for someone in need.
Small actions can create a ripple effect that reaches farther than we may ever know.
The world doesn't need more negativity.
It needs more kindness.
And it starts with each of us.
Today, look for one simple way to brighten someone else's day. You may never fully understand the impact it has, but chances are, they'll remember it long after you've forgotten.
Let's continue to spread faith, joy, purpose—and kindness—wherever we go.
"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." — Ephesians 4:32
