There’s been a lot on my heart lately.

Life gets loud sometimes.

Work. Family. Stress. Expectations. The constant pressure to keep going, keep producing, keep fixing, keep carrying.

And if I’m being honest, there have been seasons where I felt distant from God—not because He walked away, but because life became so noisy that I stopped slowing down long enough to hear Him.

Recently, I heard a song that really hit me. One line said:

“If Your answer’s in the silence, I’ll be patient…”

That line stayed with me.

Because maybe sometimes God isn’t absent.

Maybe sometimes He’s asking us to be still.

To stop striving. To stop overthinking. To stop searching for loud answers.

The older I get, the more I realize how hard it is to hear anything clearly when there’s constant noise around us.

And I don’t just mean physical noise.

I mean the mental noise. The emotional noise. The fear. The comparison. The loneliness. The worry.

Sometimes we’re asking God to speak while surrounding ourselves with everything that drowns Him out.

That’s one reason the “Be Still” design means so much to me.

It’s more than a shirt. It’s a reminder.

A reminder that God is still there even in the quiet. Even when prayers feel unanswered. Even when life feels uncertain. Even when we feel alone.

Made From Joy was never meant to be just a clothing shop.

This little business has become part of my own journey of starting over, rebuilding my faith, and learning to trust God again in the middle of messy seasons.

And maybe that’s why I love creating faith-based designs so much.

Because sometimes people don’t need perfection. Sometimes they just need a reminder.

A reminder to breathe. A reminder to trust. A reminder that they are loved. A reminder that God still speaks.

You just have to be still enough to hear Him.
